The conference will take place in the Salthill Hotel, Galway on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th April, with the welcome reception taking place the evening of Wednesday 9th April and the conference gala dinner on Thursday night. Sponsors Programme Click here to download the conference programme Friday Afternoon Tours Bus Tour Organised with the kind support of Galway County Council, this bus tour with its final stop in Athenry will leave the Salthill hotel for the following: Stop at Oranmore train station to discuss Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF) project/Urban Design Framework Visit to the BIA Innovator Campus (Ireland’s leading food incubation and innovation campus),at the Teagasc campus near Athenry On route to Athenry view the new Dexcom development currently under construction and finally Stop in Athenry to discuss ongoing preservation and protection of the town wall and other heritage initiatives Those on this bus tour will have the option of being dropped at Athenry station to join the 17:38 Athenry-Dublin train (train departs Galway Ceannt at 17:20) or the bus will return to the Salthill Hotel arriving no later than 18:00. City Centre Tour This tour will leave the Salthill Hotel at 14:15. Those taking the tour will travel by private bus to Galway Docks where a walking tour of the city centre led by Galway City Council will begin. After the tour (16:30 approx) the bus will be available to take people back to the hotel or to allow people collect their luggage from the bus for onward travel from the city centre. Spaces on tours are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. You can indicate your choice of tour at time of booking.
