We’re continuing to grow! Our Dublin Planning & Place Team has opportunities for a Senior Planner/Associate in our Dublin Office. Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities Assist with the assembly and management of multidisciplinary consultant teams. Regular and frequent reporting to Clients. Undertake negotiations on behalf of Clients to achievement of optimum development outcomes. A business-like approach to invoicing and debt management. Assist with the training, coaching and mentoring of more junior members of the team. Assist with the implementation of the Team’s Business Plan (i.e. helping grow the business through a variety of practice development activities, including preparing fee proposals and tenders). Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience Minimum of 3 years post-graduate private/public sector experience; Hold an accredited (IPI or RTPI) town planning qualification; Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Irish Planning system; A member of the Irish Planning Institute or Royal Town Planning Institute A genuine passion for town planning and placemaking Driven, ambitious, commercial, and great at building/maintaining business relationships At Avison Young, we’ve always put people at the heart of what we do.
