Irish Planning Institute Express Concern At Calls For Further Apartment Changes Posted on May 12, 2016June 14, 2021 by Irish Planning Institute The Irish Planning Institute (IPI) has expressed concern at reports today that further changes to apartment standards are being sought by some in the construction industry. President Deirdre Fallon said “The Government has already made significant concessions to overcome the misguided perception that the planning system is holding back development. If there is a perception among some developers that further changes can be achieved it increases the likelihood that they will hold back supply. The planning process has played its part. There should be a clear message from Government that it is now up to the sector to deliver quality, sustainable housing in our towns and cities.”
