You can find out more about us and our work at: www.brockmcclure.ie Positions Available We are now recruiting for the following positions: Assistant Planner Executive Planner Both roles involve working on a wide variety of exciting and challenging planning projects. The successful candidates will assist in the preparation and management of planning applications, appeals, site feasibility assessments, development plan submissions, and planning statements. You’ll be collaborating closely with clients, fellow consultants, and local authorities across Ireland. The Assistant Planner will support senior colleagues in delivering high-quality planning advice and documentation. This role is suited to graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced consultancy environment. The Executive Planner will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of projects, leading on client communications, attending design team meetings, and guiding applications through the planning process. This role is ideal for planners ready to step up in responsibility and work more autonomously. Requirements For both positions, applicants should: Hold a degree and/or master’s in Planning accredited by the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) and/or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Be well-organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Have a good understanding of the Irish planning system, legislation, and policy framework. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. In addition, for the Executive Planner role: A minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate planning experience in Ireland or the UK is required. Experience in leading planning projects and engaging with planning authorities is essential. A strong track record of preparing and managing planning applications and strategic reports.
