IPI embarks on Census of the Planning Profession 2023 Posted on March 13, 2023March 13, 2023 by Seán O'Leary This morning (13 March 2023) we embarked on the “IPI Census of the Planning Profession 2023” to gather insight on the planning profession on the island of Ireland. This year 3 surveys are being conducted – one for the local government/public sector, one for private sector/semi states and one cross sectoral. This research is being conducted with the support of KPMG Future Analytics on behalf of the IPI. Emails with the links to the local government/public sector and private sector/semi state have been issued this morning to relevant organisations as we are eager to capture one response per organisation. If you have not received this survey link please email [email protected]. The cross sectoral survey can be completed at individual, rather than organisational level, and is open to all qualified planners. To complete this survey click https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3HKP6BL and please feel free to circulate to other planners in your network. It asks questions around your qualifications and work experience, the challenges you feel the profession faces in the coming years and how the Institute can support the profession. Any queries in relation to this process can be made to [email protected]. It is envisaged that the results from this initiative will be published in June 2023.
