Job Title: Planner
Location: 3rd Floor Connaught House 1 Burlington Road Dublin 4 D04 C5Y6
Reports to: León Murray, Director of Planning

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced team, collaborating on a diverse range of projects spanning residential, commercial, industrial, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. This role presents opportunities for career advancement within a supportive environment, where the Planner will assist senior colleagues in delivering outcomes aligned with client goals.

Key responsibilities including inter alia:
− Assist in the development and implementation of town planning strategies.
− Conduct research and analysis on planning related matters.
− Prepare and present inter alia: Planning Appraisals; Planning Applications; Further Information Responses; Appeals; Submissions; and Due Diligence.
− Monitor and manage applications through the planning application process.
− Review Design Team inputs from a planning perspective.
− Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, government officials, and relevant stakeholders.
− Stay informed about changes in planning policies and regulations.

Experience & Skills
− Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, or a related field.
− 3-5 years of experience in town planning or a relevant role.
− Experience in the following is advantageous: preparation of EIARs; large-scale residential developments; medium / large scale commercial and industrial; water services infrastructure; strategic infrastructure development; and renewable energy projects.
− Strong knowledge of Irish planning laws and regulations.
− Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
− Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, GIS and other relevant planning software is advantageous.
− Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
− Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
− Strong organisational and time management skills.
− Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
− Passion for creating sustainable development and liveable communities.
