Assistant Planner or Graduate Planner , Cork (Hybrid)

Established over 14 years’ ago, Coakley O’Neill Town Planning Ltd is a small Cork-based planning consultancy with a strong local and national, public and private client profile. We provide the full range of planning services, with experience in retail, tourism, industrial, residential, waste management, energy and infrastructure sectors.

The Directors of the company are now seeking to appoint either an Assistant Planner or a Graduate Planner to join the team.

– For Assistant Planner, a minimum of 1.5 years’ experience in either the public or private sector;
– Experience, while desirable, is not essential for a Graduate Planner;
– Hold a qualification in planning (RTPI/IPI accredited);
– Possess good professional knowledge and skills;
– Possess good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
– Possess an understanding of current Irish town planning issues and the town planning process;
– A full driving licence and access to a car;
– Strong team working capabilities, and reliability to work solely; and
– Possess good IT, GIS and presentation skills.
