Waterford City & County Council – Senior Planner

An opportunity now exists in Waterford City & County Council for the position of Senior Planner.

Reporting to the Director of Service, the Senior Planner will lead a growing planning team, proactively collaborating and co-ordinating with other technical disciplines and departments in the management and delivery of the Council’s Planning function. This is a senior management role. Managers at this level work within defined parameters relevant to the position, in accordance with the Local Authority’s vision and objectives. The Senior Planner will be required to work closely with Elected Representatives and Councillors to deliver the full range of services and implement local policy decisions.
