Executive Planner

Stephen Little & Associates is a medium sized planning and development consultancy with over 21 years in practice. Our offices are located in Dublin City Centre.

We work across a wide range of projects types for both private and public clients, including the across the following; urban regeneration, education, residential, infrastructure, retail, nursing homes, offices, hospitals, industry, tourism and provide advice and guidance to our clients across a range of other areas of the planning system, as well as dealing with the emerging further changes to our planning system that are a constant in the industry. Our planning team get experience across the entire breadth of our projects.

What we are looking for
– Degree or Masters in Town Planning
– Chartered Town Planners with IPI and/or RTPI
– Minimum of 3 years experience
– Demonstrate a good understanding of planning and environmental legislation
– Have excellent language and communication skills
– Have contributed to the preparation of EIARs
– Experience in working with multi-disciplinary project teams across a wide range and scales of projects and be able to demonstrate good organisational skills
– Be able to demonstrate a broad experience in the following; research and interpretation of findings, development appraisals, appeals, management and preparation of large scale planning applications
– Having experience of managing or co-ordinating EIARs would be helpful

The Executive Planner will work closely with the senior management team at the firm in managing the day to day operations of the business.

The role will involve working on the full breadth of projects we have on our books. We promote a varied and diverse workplace for the benefit of our staff’s well-being and professional development

The Executive Planner will manage their own projects, including the SLA teams on these projects and will also be involved in projects managed by more senior colleagues

You will be engaging directly with clients and the multi-disciplinary teams we work with and work with senior colleagues in managing clients and their expectations

The Executive Planner has the potential to act as a mentor for less experienced staff
