CODE OF CONDUCT (CONSUMER PROTECTION)

All members of the Irish Planning Institute must comply with our Code of Conduct. 

The Institute will consider complaints received in writing from members of the public regarding the professional conduct of members.

The Irish Planning Institute cannot deal with complaints against planners who are not members of the Institute.

Following adoption at the AGM of 7 December 2023 a revised Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and separate procedures for enforcement proceedings and disciplinary action came into effect on 1 January 2024.
